男友說︰「妳連Counselor都撈埋, 辛苦了...」我記得那一天是上兩個星期五, 不經不覺已經十多天了。90後阿妹說︰「媽咪突如其來的入院, 是肺炎, 佢好危險呀。」我當時一邊安撫她, 其實心裡也替她做最壞的打算, 想起阿妹那麼後生也許要面前生離死別的事, 我也濕了眼, 然而作為一個上司又怎可以讓下屬看到自已哭呢? 於是, 吸一口氣, 讓她下午放假去。
為免她胡思亂想比車撞到, 我與她都保持連繫。當她到了醫院, 把現場都形容我知, 我可以想像那是怎樣的一個情況。她哽咽︰「媽咪已經昏迷了, 全身都插滿了喉, 身邊部機bibi響, 像是呼吸不到那樣...」 其實從小到大都沒有住過醫院, 雖然有探過病, 但仍無法想像現場會是如何的哭哭啼啼, 只依俙記得我祖母講過入得醫院就出唔返黎。心裡想起阿妹要承受如此沉重的消息, 情急智生想到轉移視線, 叫她要照顧爸爸和家姐, 叫她不要在媽咪面前哭。
這個阿妹對家人好到不得了, 平日放工回家吃完飯後會帶阿媽去散步, 星期六日亦會煮飯做家務, 又會每星期六倒塔咁早去陪外婆飲早茶和耍太極(!), 我成日也叫她要識下男仔, 生活圈子窄成咁又點可以嫁得出？她卻說︰「家人才是最重要。」我說︰「係好重要, 但唔需要佔用妳百分百的空餘時間呀...」我真的無法想像她為何會這樣, 畢竟也是個90後。有時, 她還會做一些婆仔到不得了的事, 如去$2店(!!)買平野, 又去買幾十蚊的婆仔衫(!!), 然後回來告訴我買到平野。
過了兩天假期, 90後阿妹面容憔悴的回到公司, 我一問候她又大哭起來, 我叫她要振作和堅強一點。老實說, 也許連我自已也無法處理好這麼大的考驗, 又叫她這麼年輕又如何承擔得起？我不知從那裡來的勇氣, 跟她講到耶穌來。我說︰「妳別太擔心, 人生死有命, 每個人都有自己面對死亡的一天, 可能明天是你或我也說不定。人生, 要說生死, 就是信仰層面的事。」說真的, 我們既不是醫生, 也沒法叫人起死回生, 甚至連自己的生命就像馬航客機那樣, 根本連要死也是不得已的。我就是這樣把我的神介紹了給她, 也教她在很慌張忙亂的時候就禱告, 因為祂會指引當行的路。
想不到, 神蹟就出現了在她性命危殆的媽媽身上...
